WEIGHT LOSS TIPS
Loosing weight is very easy. It is like mathematics. You are guaranteed to loose
weight if you take in less calories than your body burns, you will loose weight
as your body burns fat to replace the calories. However, it is important that
the calories you take into your body are high quality and provide your body the
energy you need. Discuss any life changes with your doctor. You want to proceed
in a safe manner.
1. Eat as much fruits and vegetables as you want. Raw fruit and vegetables are a
great source of energy (apples, oranges, grapes, peaches, carrots, lettuce,
celery etc.).
2. Eat good sources of protein such as tuna, chicken, or beans (not fried, no
mayonnaise).
3. Eat something early in the morning. Make sure it is an approved food source.
4.No Coffee. Coffee will give you short a short burst of energy but will let you
down later in the day. It will leave you craving sugars and fats.
5.No sugar. The effects of sugar are similar to coffee. This is a poor source of
energy
6.No fats or fried foods. Foods such as beef, fast foods, or greasy foods will
clog up your arteries. Your body can not burn these things very easily. They
will not give you very much energy. Your body needs to get these things out of
your system.
7. Increase exercise. Even walking can be great for you. Try to find something
you are interested in. Physical activity can be fun. If you are doing something
you like, you will likely stay with it. Swimming, biking, martial arts,
kickboxing, can be fun. Try something different.
8. Start off slow. many beginning students try to hard, and end up sore, get
discouraged, and then quit. Be patient. Give it some time. Think long term. You
will attain your goals if you stay with it. It is a change in life style. You
want to be still training in a year or two.
9.You should expect to loose about 2 pounds per week. Any more than this would
not be very healthy.
10. Consistancy is very important. Do you really want the goal? If you are
willing to pay the price, go for it. If you are not willing to pay the price,
accept life as it is and be happy. The choice is yours. If you stay with it, the
benefits in the way you feel and the increased energy you feel will be worth it.
I will support you in your goals.
